This Privacy Policy explains how Micro Matters Venture ("VAYO", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit vayoplus.com, place an order, or contact us. We are the Data Fiduciary for this data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. What we collect

  • Account details — name, email address, mobile number, and any profile information you choose to add.
  • Order details — the products you buy, order value, order history, and any notes you send us.
  • Delivery details — shipping and billing address, recipient name and contact number.
  • Payment details — we do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. Payments are handled by our payment gateway, which shares only the transaction status and last four digits or reference ID with us.
  • Communications — messages you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or our contact form.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar analytics collected through cookies.

2. Why we use it

  • To process, pack, ship and deliver your order, and to handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
  • To create and manage your account and show you your order history and saved addresses.
  • To verify your identity when you sign in, including one-time codes sent to your mobile number or email.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To send order updates. These are transactional and are not marketing.
  • To send offers and news, only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, fake orders and abuse, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Where we rely on your consent, that consent is free, specific, informed and withdrawable. Where processing is needed to fulfil the order you placed, we rely on performance of that contract.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties that help us run the store, and only as far as they need it:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and stores customer and order records.
  • Payment gateways — to process your payment securely.
  • Courier and logistics partners — to deliver your order and, for Cash on Delivery, to collect payment.
  • Communication providers — to send order updates, one-time sign-in codes, and (if you opted in) marketing messages by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
  • Analytics providers — to measure site usage in aggregate.
  • Government authorities — where we are required by law to disclose.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site — including checkout — may stop working correctly.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required under Indian tax, accounting and consumer protection law. Account data is kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we erase your personal data except where we are legally required to retain it.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data.
  • Erase your personal data, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, including opting out of marketing.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

8. Children

Our products and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a personal data breach occurs we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
